New Art, New Frames + See You in the Flower Fields
Hi lovely people!
It was so nice to see many of you at the Point Loma Art Walk this month. Thank you for coming to visit me!
We have another art walk coming up in September: the Carlsbad Art Walk in the flower fields on September 19th and 20th. I'm excited to see you there if you can make it!
I have more exciting news this month. I've curated prints of some of my finest art, now available on my website. I've also curated a limited edition of prints framed in either very antique beautiful frames, vintage frames from the 60s, and other frames I just couldn't pass up. They're so beautiful. Take a look!
I've really explored the depths of prints this past month and plan to have a few pieces printed on canvas and framed. Let me know if this interests you, and I can create a custom size to your liking.
I've found it interesting talking to other artists about how they work and their preferences with selling. For me personally, I love the freedom of creating on my own terms, having that creative freedom. Some artists I've talked to have expressed that they prefer being told what to paint (commission-based sales). While I won't turn down a commission, there's something so freeing about not knowing what the next paint session will hold.
I currently have many canvases lined up with a few layers of paint on them. They stare at me with contented surrender. I love that I get to create in the comfort of my home and make these pieces that flow from the Divine a part of my life.
